Wasabi

Wasabi is a perennial herb native to Japan, where it grows spontaneously in the mountains near rivers.

It is precisely from the rhizome of this plant that is derived the famous spicy green paste known as "wasabi", used in Japanese cooking and widely appreciated in the world. This variety can also be eaten in salad leaves and stems, which serve also as wonderful decoration.

• Useful advice on Wasabi? Grow it in capacious and deep pots! If you have a space in the garden in which to plant it, it takes advantage of the vegetation of other plants to keep its space shaded!
