Oregano

Oregano is a perennial with aromatic and edible foliage. Its growth is characterized by an upright and bushy habit.

Both fresh and dried leaves are edible and can be used as aromatic addition to many dishes, such as pasta, pizza, sauces, meat and vegetables.

Flowering occurs in the summer and is pink-lilac in colour. Even the oregano flowers are very fragrant and you can use them to flavor your dishes, not only as a decoration.
