Mouse Garlic

Bulbous perennial, it is also referred to as Mouse garlic precisely for the growth on humid soils below the montane belt.

Leaves, flowers and bulbs of Allium angulosum are excellent in the kitchen as a substitute for classic garlic.

The plant presents umbrella-like inflorescences of pink-lilac in summer and is well suited as an ornamental plant.
