Greek oregano is a perennial with particularly aromatic foliage. Its growth is characterized by its creeping habit.
Both fresh and dried leaves are edible and can be used as aromatic addition to many dishes, such as pasta, pizza, sauces, meat and vegetables.
Flowering occurs in the summer period and is white in colour. Oregano flowers are also very fragrant and you can use them to flavor your dishes, not only as decoration.
