Myrtus communis 'Tarentina', like Myrtus communis, is a shrubby, aromatic, rustic plant, which grows spontaneously in the Mediterranean area.

Decorative plant with smaller leaves, but same flowers and berries to the common myrtle. Use both leaves and berries in the cuisine to flavour meat dishes.
