Wild fennel leaves and seeds are used to flavor pasta, soups, soups, vegetables and fish; the seeds in particular are found in sauces, focaccias, bread, desserts, liqueurs and digestive herbal teas. The latter have strong digestive and carminative properties.

This cultivar has foliage with colored shades bronze/purple.

It is a vigorous plant, with upright and bushy growth, capable of easily exceeding one meter in height.
