Perennial herbaceous which is characterized by bright blue flower heads formed by a large number of small flowers, this Eryngium cultivar is hardy in the cold.

Grow it in your garden or on your balcony with ease. In summer it will give you elegant colored inflorescences deep blue which you can also use as a cut flower for bouquets and floral compositions. Its particular flowers are also useful for bees and pollinating insects who find sustenance.

In popular medicine this species was used as a cure for inflammation and as a galactagogue.

*At the same time as the autumn/winter period, the plant has little or no vegetation.
