Luigia or limoncina grass is a shrub belonging to the Verbenaceae family.
In late summer the plant produces delicate white flowers that appear in clusters at the top of the stem.
The interest aroused by this plant is due to its leaves, which give off an intense, surprisingly pleasant lemon aroma. The young leaves are perfect for making infusions, liqueurs or flavoring fruit desserts, pastries and ice creams and savory dishes.
*At the same time as the autumn/winter period, the plant has little or no vegetation.
