Ideas falling from the sky: star dust

You know that heady feeling that makes you think of the thousand things you could do to 'fix this', 'change that', 'improve that'? I must admit that this feeling inspires me often! I always enjoy observing and creating new ideas and I think the work I do gives me great possibilities! Working with plants is a truly inspiring feeling. Their skills are exceptional in every sense and taking inspiration from them to invent is something that comes naturally to me. Often many experiences in which I have been able to take part and which I have been able to live, in everyday life, in dealing with people and other local realities, in more or less distant travels, have inspired innovations in my work. And every time I breathe in something that in my eyes is exciting it is immediately pure inspiration! A piece of furniture, a way of being, a landscape, an idea, a taste... and it's immediately love at first sight, which I share with you!

Green inspiration

Do you know how difficult it is not to double the plant catalog from year to year? Every year we review our catalog of species in production, expanding it and evaluating how the previous year's production went. Well, keeping yourself from exaggerating with new things is truly a difficult task. We fall in love with flowers, leaves, we imagine them in your gardens, we dream of their potential and it becomes really difficult not to grow everything!

The same thing goes for ours too products! The entire catalog of herbal teas and processed herbs it was designed and inspired also and above all by the scents that we like most, such as the scented leaves of the mint, the tender flowers of Chamomile, the citrus fruit of Lemongrass, the leaves of wild garlic, the lively flowers of mallow and much more! And how difficult it is here too not to invent a new one at the first opportunity...

Ideas that…fall from the sky!

As I was telling you, inspiration is fundamental for me! And for a completely new product that we wanted to offer you, the idea was born from a practical need, that is to bring creativity also into the preparation of desserts, creams and much more. And I'll tell you exactly how this idea was born. One evening I was obsessed, as usual, with preparing a dessert... I admit that I'm not an ace at large pastry preparations, but simple shortcrust pastry biscuits could easily be the turning point of the evening. Again as usual, when preparing everything I realized that I was missing any ingredient to give something extra to those simple biscuits. The turning point, however, was to discover that I had both chilli powder and mint leaves at home and so let's try to give it a taste like this! I pulverized it mint and created a small mixture based on mint and a pinch of chilli, with which I then flavored the pastry. Result? Crazy! The biscuits were super fragrant, colorful and delicious! And that's how a strange idea that fell from the sky turned out to be a fantastic surprise! And how could we not call this new product if not... stardust?

These mixes are a powdered product, perfect for adding to doughs and liquids (like milk or cream), mixing easily with the raw material. Not only will they colour, making the preparation lively, but they will add nuances of flavor that are not at all banal! Add a pinch of powder on yogurt, mousse, creme, cake and biscuit doughs! And then you want one herbal tea or flavored water, but not to infuse filters or mixtures? Add the powders to make one in just a few minutes and without residues to filter! Want a aromatic touch on fruit salads, desserts and ice creams: you will make them fantastic with these super colorful additions!

There are three flavors: berries and lemon, mint and chilli pepper, fennel and liquorice.

I wanted to choose strong flavours, which together give the best of themselves. Combine the freshness of mint with the sparkling chilli pepper, the delicious berries with the citrus notes of lemon, the strong sweetness of fennel and liquorice. And why not... I'm thinking about experimenting with them too savory! I have already tried to make super meatballs flavored with mint and chilli powder... simply fantastic!

Our powders are naturally delicious and without the addition of sugar! You can store them in the kitchen without placing them in the fridge, preferably in a dry place!
